Natural Acoustics is a Glasgow based company specializing in professional, high quality natural sounding recordings. Particularly working with acoustic performers for example: orchestras, jazz bands, swing bands, choirs, quartets and solo musicians.
The Aim of Natural Acoustics is to capture the sound of a performance in the most natural way possible, as if you were a member of the audience. This is done by using a single stereo pair of Schoeps microphones and acoustically ambient environments - a large hall of church for example. This technique has been used for many years, but is still highly acclaimed and regarded to be the best way to make a true, naturally balanced recording with the right musical feel.
The Natural Acoustics setup is extremely compact and descreet to minimise the risk of intruding in a live concert situation. As the setup is highly mobile, recordings can be arranged for any location the musician desires. The equipment used is of a "no-compromise" standard ensuring extremely high fidelity and honest sound reproduction - which should be the requirements of every acoustic musician.
